Celebrate Juneteenth in this FREE printmaking workshop inspired by American printer, book artist and papermaker, Amos Paul Kennedy Jr., and his bright, impactful letterpress work! In this unique event, participants can pick from a selection of words and phrases preset in Wood Type, inspired by Juneteenth and African American culture, to create their own custom printed pieces using a small proofing press and hand-printing methods. Combine words and phrases and select imagery and walk away with meaningful handmade prints! Limit 4 prints per person - Space is limited! No fee: pre-registration required.
