This recital class will introduce your child to basic ballet and tap techniques each week through movement and music. Students will develop coordination, flexibility and grace through ballet; as well as beat, tempo and rhythm awareness through song and tap dance. Students will also be preparing for the recital that will take place in May. Materials: A separate costume and recital fee is payable Rhythm n' Shoes Dance by November 14 for those participating in the spring recital. This fee will cover one costume, tights, accessories, finale shirt, endo of year ribbon, and picture sitting fee for a group photo. Attire: leotard, pink or tan tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes. Long hair should be worn in a pony tail. Short hair should be pulled away from the face.
