Step into a three‑week journey where Mandalas and Rangolis come to life. You’ll paint on a circular wooden canvas, adding gemstones and any special embellishments you bring—beads, mirrors, tiles, and more. Layer by layer, your mandala will unfold into a one‑of‑a‑kind work of art. You’ll also shape a small air‑dry clay diya and paint it to shine with your own vision. Whether or not you celebrate Diwali, this class invites you into a world of reflection, color, and luminous creativity.
Primary resources include a solid circular wood base, assorted paint, and gemstones. Students may bring their own materials such as beads, tiles, mirrors, etc…to embellish and beautify their special work of art. May your imaginations lead the way! In addition, you’ll be given air-dry clay to make a small diya (light/lantern) to enhance your experience, then personalize it with paint.
