In this one-day crash course, students will explore the responsibilities of a stage manager, from keeping a production organized and running smoothly to communicating with directors, actors, and crew. Taught by a stage manager with years of professional experience, this workshop combines real-world insight with practical training. Along the way, they'll apply their new skills through fun hands-on activities and races designed to put their stage management knowledge to the test. Students will leave with practical strategies for calling cues, taking blocking notes, and supporting a show from first rehearsal to final performance.
