About This Activity
Step into the writers’ room! Taught by an STC alum who has trained in sketch writing and performed his original work onstage, this workshop gives students hands-on experience crafting comedy from the ground up. Across five sessions, students will explore a variety of sketch styles while building a toolkit of idea-generation techniques and developing a set of polished sketches–from first draft to second draft. -Grades 7-12 -Wednesdays: Feb. 11, 18, 25 and March 4, & 11 -6:30-8:00pm
