About This Activity

Let’s put on a one-act play and learn a lot along the way! Come develop your acting skills in a low-stress performance environment. You’ll also get to experience some set, prop, and costume design. Play Description: Fish is in a pickle. Actually, Fish is in a fishbowl, but she has a major problem — her imagination is broken and she can’t even think of a single wish. Luckily, Splat the Imagination Cat and the Whosiewhats magically appear to help. Representatives of the IRS (the Imagination Repair Squad), they send Fish on an adventurous undersea journey to the Not-Land of Zo, where she meets Queen Gill-inda. Starting on her trek, she pairs up with Bubble Burt and Norton the Narwhal, who accompany her to find her imagination. The Not-Land of Zo is threatened by The Doom, which is sapping all the citizens, like Mr. Shell-o-phane and his Dazzling Razzlettes, of their energy and spark. Along the way, they must battle Sweeney Cod and his “friends,” the Electric Eels, as well as a monsoon of jellyfish. Fish and her new friends finally reach Mount Mundane, but it’s going to take creativity and imagination to conquer The Doom! Family Showcase on Friday at 3:30pm
