About This Activity
Get moving and explore foundational steps, styles, and choreography of musical theater! In this two-day intensive, students will learn dance techniques and choreography they may encounter in the performing arts world, while discovering the history behind some of musical theater's most iconic numbers. The intensive will conclude with a friends and family showcase on Sunday at 4:00pm. Meet Your Instructor-- Gil McNaughton Gil is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator with 15 years of performance experience, including work alongside stars such as Gene Kelly, Ginger Rogers, John Davidson, and Ricardo Montalban. He has choreographed more than 20 musicals and taught at colleges and dance studios throughout his career.
