Description
Learn to make and design your own decorative clay wind chime. In this class, students will create a series of pinch pots that they can add textured patterns to with various additive and subtractive techniques. Students may also choose to make an animal wind chime where they take inspiration and sculpt their pinch pots to look like an animal, such as a fish. You also have the option to further decorate your project with underglazes to add color.
When your windchime pieces are dry, they will get fired in the kiln with a clear coat of glaze.
You will be notified by email for pickup, and at home, you can assemble your wind chime together with the string.
No prior experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to create!
