About This Activity
Let’s take a close look at one of the most popular subjects in art: FOOD! Whether it’s still life drawings, pop art prints, or paintings of cakes by Wayne Thiebaud, food has been used in art around the world and through the ages. Campers will really dig in this week as they: Learn how to use color and value to make a drawing or painting of food appear realistic. Make a larger-than-life sculpture of a favorite food. Design a unique and silly character that is inspired by an item of food. Please note: the A2AC does not make exceptions to the age minimum for any reason.
