Grades: 2nd-3rd. Wanna play a game? Board games aren’t just entertaining - they’re powerful tools for growth. Enhance your cognitive skills like strategic planning and memory, while also practicing social skills like negotiation and collaboration. Understand rules, gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. What could be better than making friends, sharpening your mind, and mastering board game fun? Board games include Once Upon a Time, Sea Salt and Paper, Castle Panic, Here to Slay, Bohnanza, Tokaido. One new board game will be played each week. Instructor: Joe Vandagriff. 6 classes. No class 1/19 and 2/16.
