Grades: 2nd-3rd. Wanna play a game? Board games aren’t just entertaining - they’re powerful tools for growth. Enhance your cognitive skills like strategic planning and memory, while also practicing social skills like negotiation and collaboration. Understand rules, gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. What could be better than making friends, sharpening your mind, and mastering board game fun? Board games include Apples to Apples, Deep Sea Adventure, Survive the Island, Project L, Cartagena, Dream Home, Magical Athlete, Belratti. One new board game will be played each week. Instructor: Joe Vandagriff. 8 classes. No class 9/28 and 10/12.
