Description
Youth Chess with G-Powers
Playing Chess allows kids to develop self-confidence, become deeper thinkers, and have fun! Students will learn how to play the game, learn forks and pins, how to check mate and use opening and ending strategies. These skills will allow them to break down and understand real chess games.
Grades: K-5th. Beginning/Intermediate. Students with no or some experience in chess are welcome to join. They learn basic opening and ending strategies and further learn how to use forks and pins. Instructors: G-Powers staff. 6 classes. No class 5/7.
Rec & Ed classes follow AAPS COVID & Health Guidance.
