Ages 8 - 11. Looking for a summer camp focused on outdoor learning and hands-on stewardship projects? Ready for a week full of friends, fun, and sun? Join the A2 Nature Guardians team for another inspiring summer of making memories and connecting with the natural world at the Freeman Environmental Education Center! This year, campers will explore the idea of “home” by discovering why Earth supports life, what makes Michigan special, and how they can help protect and enhance habitats for creatures that live at Freeman. Activities include seed collecting, planting, removing invasive plants, mulching, arts and crafts, nature-based games, creating a camp newspaper, and more. Discover how enjoying, studying, and improving a local habitat can help transform you into one of Ann Arbor’s greatest nature guardians! Instructors: Coert Ambrosino, Nate Hatt, Steven Tomsik.
