Grades: 2nd-5th. This class is designed to help students develop crochet skills they can continue using long after the session ends. Rather than focusing solely on completing a specific project, students will build a strong foundation in crochet, gain confidence with essential techniques, and learn to make independent creative decisions about their work.
Throughout the session, students will learn and practice the single crochet stitch, explore different approaches to planning and structuring projects, and learn how to read simple crochet patterns. By the end of the class, each student will have the skills and knowledge needed to continue crocheting independently at home. All materials are provided, and no prior crochet experience is necessary. Instructor: Katherine Williams. 8 classes. No class 11/3.
