Grades: K-5th. Unleash your imagination with a thrilling map-making adventure! Start by designing your own magical lands, from twisting rivers to towering mountains and hidden forests. Fill your world with castles, villages, secret caves, and mystical landmarks waiting to be discovered. Bring the land to life with dragons, wizards, and fantastical creatures, then add treasure spots, symbols, and enchanting details to guide your explorers. Participants will create a colorful, take-home fantasy map that evolves each week, while exploring creativity, imagination, and storytelling through every detail of their world. Turn each session into a journey and watch your magical world grow! Scholarship recipients pay a $20 materials fee. Instructor: Namrata Khemka. 5 classes.
