The High School Volunteer Program is designed for students who are entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall of 2025. There is a $10 Application Fee.
About the Program
Celebrating 15 years of excellence, the Rec & Ed HSVP offers high school students valuable summer opportunities to develop leadership skills, gain work experience, and explore potential career paths in a camp environment. While building their resumes, volunteers create lasting memories!
Program Goals
- Enhance campers' experiences through dedicated volunteer support
- Provide volunteers with practical leadership and collaborative skills
- Maintain at least one volunteer per camp session
- Foster positive role models who contribute to their community
Volunteers support camp operations by- Assisting campers with projects
- Supporting staff in leading games and activities
- Creating an engaging, fun atmosphere
- Contributing to various camp programs
