Grades: 3rd-5th. Want to be a doctor when you grow up? Explore the fascinating world of medicine with real tools doctors use. Learn basic medical knowledge, first aid skills, and the essentials of human anatomy and physiology. Through a variety of hands-on activities, understand the skeletal system and bone health, the circulatory system and how the heart works, as well as the respiratory system and how the lungs function. By the end of the class, you will be proud to display your healthcare knowledge through the art projects and models you’ve created. Instructor: Fatoumata (Fatima) Traore. 6 classes. No class 4/17 and 5/15.
