About This Activity
Description
Ages 3-5 years & Adult(s). Kidokinetics creates the ultimate athletic experience with our science-based sports program! Through over 20 sports and endless creative activities, we foster movement to support gross motor development, hand-eye coordination, confidence, and FUN! The SportsPlay class offers a playful introduction to sports, designed to get toddlers, preschoolers and adults moving. Children will have a chance to experience different pieces of equipment and plenty of cross-body movement. Each session features a warm-up and stretch, an introduction to a new sport with age-appropriate skills and drills, an interactive game, and a cool-down that recaps our accomplishments and highlights a bone or muscle of the day. Indoor, clean & dry shoes required on the dance studio floor. Adult participation required. Instructors: Kidokinetics Coaches. 6 classes. Potential weather make-up 10/28. 100% scholarship recipients pay $10.Questions can be directed to firststeps@aaps.k12.mi.us.
