Grades: K-5th. Paleontology and art come together in this unique learning experience. Using the book Raptors, Fossils, Fins & Fangs: A Prehistoric Creature Feature (by Bradford Matsen and Ray Troll) for inspiration, design your own fossils, dinosaurs and other interesting prehistoric animals such as aquatic creatures and saber toothed tigers. Explore different watercolor techniques, create forms with paper and detailed line drawings, and much more! All supplies are provided. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. Scholarship recipients pay a $25 materials fee. Instructor: Lindsy Avenall. 6 classes.
