About This Activity
Explore the art of throwing on the pottery wheel! Students will learn throwing and trimming techniques while they practice making basic forms on the wheel. The last week of class will be devoted to glazing their ceramic artwork. Students are welcome to repeat this class, as practice makes perfect. The instructor for this class will work with each student at their individual skill level. Please plan to “dress for a mess!”. Please note: the A2AC does not make exceptions to the age minimum for any reason. All supplies are included. Please allow 4 weeks or more after the last class session for work to be processed and fired in the kiln. Participants will receive an email notification when projects are ready for pick-up. *Independent studio hours are not included with this course.
