About This Activity
Description
Grades 2nd - 8th. Beginning Fencing Level 1 is only available to participants who have completed the Intro to Fencing Class, or who have prior fencing experience. This class meets for 60 minutes once per week. Class will include games for physical development, improvement of essential footwork, introduction to more advanced tactics and blade work, drilling and bouting. This class will prepare students for intermediate or competitive level Fencing. Instructor: Plymouth/Ann Arbor Fencing Academy staff. 6 classes.
Beginning Level 1 students need to purchase a yearly $30 USA Fencing "access" membership for liability insurance coverage.
