Description
Ages: 8 - 17. Explore a multitude of cutting edge tools and techniques for creating your own music in an innovative and collaborative environment led by a Grammy Award-winning musician and music producer. Have fun experimenting with different techniques such as Recording, Mic placement, Beatmaking, Sequencing, Looping, Arranging and many more. No previous musical experience is necessary, and no equipment is required. You will have access to everything you need to make amazing sounding music: instruments, recording equipment, and a full suite of software applications. The Sonic Workshop is an opportunity for you to make your musical ideas come to life. Instructor: John Churchville, a Grammy Award-winning tabla player with over 20 years of experience. 10 classes. No class 9/29 and 10/13.
