Grades: 3rd-5th. Perfect for beginners! This engaging and beginner-friendly class introduces students to the fundamentals of Wushu and Tai Chi through fun and playful exercises. Students will build coordination, balance, focus, and confidence while learning basic stances, kicks, jumps, and simple forms in a supportive and inclusive environment. Each class ends with gentle Tai Chi movements that promote relaxation, mindfulness, body awareness, and focused breathing. Designed for students who are new to Kung Fu, this class also welcomes returning students who want to revisit and strengthen their foundational skills.
Whether learning these practices for the first time or refining previously learned techniques, students will enjoy an active and rewarding experience that encourages them to move, grow, and have fun. Instructor: Vincent van Drongelen. 8 classes. No class 10/10.
