Ages 12 - 15. Aerospace Explorers is a hands-on, inquiry-based summer camp designed to spark curiosity in aviation, aerospace and STEM careers. Campers will explore how aircraft fly, build and launch rockets, learn about and fly drones, meet aviation professionals, and experience a real airport environment. Activities are age-appropriate and emphasize teamwork, problem-solving, and real-world applications. On the final day of camp, campers will visit the Ann Arbor Municipal airport to tour the tower, interact with aircraft, learn about airport careers, and see demonstration by University of Michigan Survival Flight team. Parents/Guardians will need to drop off and pick up from the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport on the final day of camp. Instructor: Linda Aubuchon. Monday - Friday.
