Description
Age 3-5.5 years. Spend the week with the Nutty Scientists in a STEAM camp with an extra emphasis on ENGINEERING! Junior engineers discuss and build many inventions and contraptions while taking a close look at construction and tools! Learn about simple machines, strong shapes and some forces of physics. It is never too early to spark your child's curiosity and interest in science. Campers enjoy plenty of playtime with peers as well as 2 amazing playgrounds and motor room/gymnasium. Attending children bring packed lunches and need to be potty trained. Instructor: Nutty Scientists of Southeast Michigan Staff. 100% scholarship recipients pay $15.- Online registration for this camp will close at 5:00pm 3 business days before the camp start date. - Attending children must be potty trained.
- Please send a NUT-FREE fruit/veggie snack and lunch with a filled water bottle to drink.

- The optional Pre-Camp Visits give campers and parents an opportunity to see our space BEFORE camp begins (tour the classrooms, bathrooms, playground, indoor gym, etc.). Let us help your camper feel more comfortable about their first day of preschool spring break camp. The Pre-Camp Visit is held at Westerman Preschool & Family Center, 2775 Boardwalk Avenue (park in the south parking lot & enter through exterior Door #32). **Email firststeps@aaps.k12.mi.us for more information.
