About This Activity
Our book club goals for Kindergarten–2nd grade students are to build strong early literacy skills while nurturing a lifelong love of reading. Through shared stories and guided discussions, we will strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, and listening skills in a fun, supportive environment. We will also practice important social skills such as taking turns, sharing ideas, and developing empathy as we learn from one another. Most importantly, our book club will create positive, joyful reading experiences that help students see books as exciting and meaningful. Cost includes book. Please pack a nut free snack. Pick up is at 3:45PM. Any student not picked up will be checked into After School Care. 6 Sessions
