About This Activity
Our Kids No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is specifically tailored to the SMES Enrichment program and taught by International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) Black Belt World Champions. This program is a contemporary version of traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and taught without the uniform / kimono. Kids learn practical BJJ and self-defense skills, that are the same foundational techniques of grappling and ground control used by the stars of the UFC and professional MMA tournaments (without striking and kicking). While your child won’t be stepping into the Octagon, they’ll be learning the very same techniques that fuel the success of today’s top fighters—adapted to a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment to strength, sharpen focus, and that teaches respect, responsibility, and perseverance—qualities that extend far beyond the mats.
