About This Activity

Roblox 3D Game Design - For students entering grades 4-9 - Develop Your Own Video Games NEW IN 2019: We’re excited about this BRAND NEW camp for summer 2019. In this camp, you’ll get to discover and learn how to build your own 3D Roblox games! Using Roblox Studio and it’s programming language LUA you’ll build, program, and share your games with the growing Roblox community. While Roblox itself is an extremely popular 3D game platform, Roblox Studio is a tool designed so users can build their own original 3D video games. This course is perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to create a 3D video game, but didn't know where to start. Elements of game design and development are covered through scripting in Lua, building asset libraries, and designing levels of their 3D games. Please set up a Roblox Account Before Camp or we can set one up for you at camp. Parent authorization is required. If you need a parent authorization form, please email linda@therenaissancechild.net. No prior experience necessary. Full Day Price 9 to 4 $450 Half Day Price. 9 to 12 AM or 1 to 4 PM. $350 Sorry, this camp is not eligible for the Half & Half Camp price!
