About This Activity
The class will be an intro to all aspects of theatre (appropriate for all ages and levels ) including techniques and performer artistry, professionalism, tech-talent respect, plus other skills helpful outside of the theater - all while learning their performance skills: acting, singing, and dancing/(musical movement)! This class will culminate with the opportunity to perform at the end of semester showcase - which is not required. However, classes will be conducted as if preparing for an upcoming performance. Students will work on musical vignettes from various popular Broadway productions as an ensemble, and/or small groups to solo numbers. No class April 13. Showcase will be held on Saturday, June 4 between 9:00am and 2:00pm. More details with exact time will be sent out to all students later.
