Intro to Tumbling (Intro) / Tumble Basics (T1) Combo Class by Coach Ainsley Intro: Focus is on tumbling basics: handstands, cartwheels, forward and backward rolls, body positions, flexibility and strength, and will learn drills, terminology and proper stretching technique. T1: Intro skills will be perfected and athletes will learn a proper hollow body position, earn to punch off the floor with their toes and locked ankles, with a strong focus on roundoffs,. While perfecting roundoffs & handspring pops, athletes begin drills for back handsprings. Session dates: December 2-March 3 12 weeks of tumbling; no class December 20-31 or February 21 Make-up week held March 7-11 Class size is limited to an 8:1 ratio. Registrations are accepted on a first-come basis and enrollment is not complete until payment is received. A minimum of 3 athletes is required for the class to be held. Once a class is full, you may choose the “waitlist” button and you will be notified if a spot in that class becomes available. All registrations are considered non-refundable. There is a $25 transfer fee to switch classes once enrolled. All athletes must have a valid Annual Membership Fee on file while enrolled in class.
