Ohio University Soccer Camps The ID Camp is open to all female soccer players 8th grade and older with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level. The goal of this camp is to provide each player with an experience of what it takes to be successful at the collegiate level. The camp is designed to replicate the collegiate training environment and to give the players the tools needed to be successful at the collegiate level. It will utilize field and skill sessions to create a positive learning environment that is both enjoyable and challenging. All training sessions will be conducted by Ohio University soccer coaching staff. Strong emphasis will be placed on improving each player’s technical ability under pressure and their tactical awareness. Individual creativity will be strongly encouraged in an effort to keep each player confident and determined to discover success within the game. Goalkeepers will go through specific goalkeeper training similar to the college training environment. Our ID Camp presents a great opportunity for each player to be challenged and to showcase themselves to college coaches. Equipment Needs: Cleats (turfs if desired), shin-guards, regular running shoes to wear during downtime or indoor, a ball and water.
