About This Activity
Come to the class you really love after school, Art! We will explore drawing and painting landscapes, plants, trees, hands and eyes. Week 1 - Class painting subject: sky and ocean. Gradating color, how to create texture for clouds and water with paint, and how to create depth through layering and contrasting. Week 2 - Continue sky water painting. Week 3 - Watch a demonstration of hand studies. Try several quicker studies then draw a longer drawing looking at your own hand. Week 4 - After a demonstration, draw an eye from a close-up eye photograph. Week 5 - Paint a plant from the green house in full color Week 6 - Collage an image that you will use as reference next week to paint from. Week 7 - Paint from the reference collage you created last week! Week 8 - Plan and layout drawing of a tree and paint foundation colors on all areas. Week 9- Continue and finish tree painting Supply list Paint brush set (flat, round, large, small) Pencil, eraser 4 canvas any size around 16x20
