About This Activity
This is a two-part class The Johanna Bag is a crossbody bag that's not too big and not too small. It's perfect for holding your essential items, with room to spare. This bag features a fun zipper, hardware rings, and a front pocket. In this Learn to Sew class you will learn several important sewing skills such as cutting your fabric on grain, marking your fabric, and using fusible interfacing. Interfacing stabilizes and stiffens fabrics, which adds firmness, shape, structure, and support to the items you sew. Interfacing is used in the creation of bags, collars, waistbands, cuffs, and more! SKILLS REQUIRED: You MUST have taken Learn to Sew 101 and 102 or have equivalent skills. Please see the Adult Classes page on our website for detailed information about this class, requirements, and supply list. IMPORTANT: Please arrive about five minutes early. Bring a snack and drink if you think you'll need one. We will have water. NO REFUNDS FOR MISSED CLASSES in this series.
