YOUTH EXPLORATION OF CLAY / Toni StrachanFridays from 3:15 - 4:45 PM
April 3rd - May 29th9 Weeks
Ages 8-12
Class Fee: $225
In this class we will experiment with different types of clay. Create functional and sculptural objects from papier- mâché, air dry clay, and kiln fired clay. All materials are provided.

REFUND POLICY: To receive a refund, students must submit their request at least 2 weeks before the first class. No refunds or transfers are guaranteed after this time. To withdraw from a class, you are required to email ChastainArts@AtlantaGA.gov and include your name, the class name, and your reason for withdrawal. The option to accept an account credit for the class withdrawal is preferred. If a withdrawal/refund is requested after 2 weeks prior to or after the class has begun, a $30 administration fee will be deducted and only an account credit will be processed to be used for future class registrations, clay purchases, and future purchases in our gift shop & gallery. If a class is running at minimum enrollment, we cannot process refunds or credits within 1 week of the class starting. If you register for a class after the session has begun, only an account credit will be processed if a withdrawal is requested. Anyone registered for a figure class with a model will be required to pay the model fee on the first day of class with cash or check to the instructor. Even if you request a withdrawal after the first day of class, you will be required to pay the model fee calculated based on enrollment on the first-class meeting. The Chastain Arts Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences and the student is not eligible to receive a refund or credit for any missed classes due to a student absence. Please discuss any unavoidable absences with your instructor
