About This Activity
This class is an introduction and continuing study of basic B&W film development and darkroom printing practices. Students learn how to develop film with consistent results and learn the art of silver gelatin printing while avoiding common issues like over or under exposed prints and uneven development. Intermediate techniques such as dodging & burning and split-grade printing are also introduced. Chemistry provided. Students provide their own film and paper.
