NOTE: Start date delay by one week. New start is April 22. Whether knitting has been on your “someday” list for years or you tried it once and set it aside, this is your class. In four welcoming, hands-on weeks, you’ll build real skills — casting on, knit and purl stitches, and binding off — with plenty of individual support to keep you moving forward confidently. We’ll celebrate two finished projects: a handy dishcloth and a cozy scarf. Enjoy the calming effects of knitting promoting the joy of making something. The supply list is included so you arrive ready to dive in. Instructor is Charla Oja-Silvia. With over 40 years of fiber arts practice and a career in corporate telecom leadership, Charla brings rare depth to textile education — combining mastery of craft with the clarity and structure of an experienced executive. She is an active board member of the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild and an enthusiastic advocate for fiber arts at every skill level.
