About This Activity
In this two-day workshop, ceramic artist Michael will share his creative process for making ceramic robots. Day one includes a showcase of his work, technique demonstrations, and instructions on throwing the robot’s component parts. On day two, participants will learn how to assemble, alter, and personalize their robots, finishing with a discussion on surface treatment options. All materials are provided. Prior experience with wheel throwing and handbuilding is required.
