About This Activity
Our summer painting club offers a dedicated studio environment for young artists to bridge the gap between hobbyist and creator. This mentor-guided program explores the unique techniques of painting. Students will be able to work in acrylics or watercolor or dabble in both. Throughout the week students will receive personalized guidance on color harmony, brushwork, and 2D composition, all while being encouraged to weave their own personal storytelling into their work. Beyond technical skills, the club focuses on helping each participant begin to build a portfolio and a confident artistic identity. Surrounded by a community of peers who share their passion, students will have access to all required materials. Note to Parents: As we will be working with pigments, we recommend students wear "studio-ready" clothing that can handle the occasional paint splatter.
