UKULITTLES (beginner ukulele class for ages 5-7) Welcome to Tara Scheyer’s UkuLittles beginner ukulele class for ages 5-8, where young beginners can embark on a fun-filled ukulele adventure! This class is specially designed to introduce children to this delightful instrument and inspire a lifelong love for music. Students will learn the basics of playing the ukulele, starting with how to hold and strum the instrument correctly. They will participate in fun interactive games and activities that help capture the imagination of young learners. Students will learn to sing and play familiar songs in a group setting. They will learn to read ukulele chord sheets and explore various musical genres while also learning the importance of collaboration and ensemble playing. Students will have opportunities to play together, experiencing the joy of making music as a team. This fosters social skills, cooperation and a sense of unity among the young pianists.
