
The WorkReady courses are designed to equip participants with essential skills and real-world experience to succeed in today’s workforce. Through career exploration and hands-on learning, students build core competencies in communication, time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and digital literacy. The program also includes resume writing, mock interviews, and professional etiquette training to prepare participants for both academic and career success. Whether you're seeking your first job or planning your future career, workforce training offers a valuable, transformative experience that opens doors to new opportunities. These classes are offered in person, with additional assignments to be completed outside of class. Early Childhood Exploration - The main objective of this 16-week program is to prepare individuals to enter the child care workforce with all certifications needed to begin caring for children on day 1 of employment. Each participant leaves with the required training in CPR-FA-AED, mandated reporting, and health and safety training, based on the participant's age and stage of interest. 20-45 clinical hours will be spent in a child care facility to provide hands-on experience assisting classroom teachers with the child care facility's daily duties. Employer-Supported - Already employed? During this 16-week program, we will collaborate with your current employer.
