About This Activity
Get ready for a Halloween STEM adventure where science gets spooky and coding gets creepy! Campers will dive into the mysterious world of coding and innovation, starting by cracking the code behind how computers "think" and talk. Then it’s time to get creative (and a little creepy!) as students use 3D pens to follow a code that creates an eerie image—oh my! But the real scare-tastic challenge awaits when they team up with the Sphero BOLT robot, using their math and coding smarts to program it to help design and “carve” the perfect jack-o’-lantern pattern. With logic, loops, and lots of imagination, students will explore how technology and art collide to bring Halloween to life—one spooky spin at a time!
