After reading Mr. Ferris and His Wheel, the true story of how the very first Ferris wheel wowed the crowds in Chicago, students will take on the challenge of imagining, planning, building, and testing their very own spinning masterpiece. With buckets of creativity, a barrel of materials, and a whole lot of determination, campers will tinker, test, and troubleshoot to keep their wheels turning. It’s hands-on fun, full of twists, turns, and STEM-powered surprises—because at this carnival, the greatest ride is the one you build yourself!
