About This Activity
This mini camp will be full of kids acting out a mini hilarious version of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Kids will get to perform melodramatic death scenes, evil laughs, have sword fights, participate in chase scenes and more! Come learn some dramatic and interesting acting skills in this funny twist of a Shakespearean classic. Performance will be at 3:30pm on Thursday in the Logic Gallery. Kathy is an accomplished actress and teaching artist who holds an MA in Theatre Education from California State University, California and her BA in Theatre Performance from San Diego State University. She has over 26 years performing experience and over 13 years experience teaching and facilitating the arts to all ages in various settings. Being in Austin for 12 years now, she has taught acting classes at the Zach theatre, courses with ACC’s drama department, and was a teaching artist with Creative Action. She is currently the Logic Theater teacher at Regents.
