About This Activity
This "mini-camp" is perfect for students who want an introduction into the world of musical theatre and to learn what it takes to perform in a show. Campers will study age-appropriate music & choreography and perform on stage at the end of the week. They will perform solo and group songs from popular and age appropriate musicals. Come for smiles, songs, dance, and a ton of fun! Final performance will be on Thursday at 11:30 in the Gallery. Kathryn Young teaches Logic Theatre at Regents School. She is an actress and teaching artist who holds a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from California State University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance from San Diego State University. She has over 25 years performing experience and over 10 years' experience teaching and facilitating the arts to all ages in various settings.
