About This Activity
Creative Action Drama Club: Do you have a budding or experienced performer looking to take their craft to the next level? Creative Action Drama Club explores acting skills for 2nd-5th graders! This ensemble building class will focus on performance fundamentals like voice and speech projection, character development, singing, movement, improv, storytelling and empathy. This collaborative class will give your student the opportunity to share their unique voice at the end of the semester in a showcase! This showcase will give students the opportunity to create a performance together, using their ideas under the guidance of their teaching artist. Students may choose to adapt a story into a play, write a play of their own, or select scenes to perform in order to put the skills they have developed throughout the semester into practice!
