At Wize Computing Academy , we use tested & proven curriculum to help students develop into logical thinkers, problem solvers and future creators. Fall Curriculum : Minecraft Masters We take our young learners on an exciting journey into the world of Minecraft. While they indulge in their favorite game, they also acquire the skills to apply coding and elevate their Minecraft adventures. Through the use of icon/block-based coding blocks, our students not only craft a more immersive gaming world but also foster their coding literacy by comprehending and interpreting these blocks, setting free the bounds of their creativity. No prior experience necessary! Early Spring Curriculum : 3D Design, Modeling and Printing 3D design and printing teaches important STEAM concepts and design thinking. It helps unlock children’s natural drive to create, share and explore. We use easy to use, intuitive and engaging software to allow young students to transition from drawing in 2D to designing in 3D in minutes – no CAD or computer experience necessary! Students get to take home the objects they design and print Late Spring Curriculum : Mobile App Development In this course students will learn: How to develop an idea to a fully functional Mobile app. Build mobile apps for multiple platforms with a single codebase. Learn User Experience (UX), Create Interfaces (UI) – look and feel of the app. Implement animations, sounds and interactivity. Students get to choose, design and completely code the app under the guidance of our expert staff. Classes are customized to age appropriate projects.
