In this class, students ages 12-16 will take their circuit-building skills to the next level by integrating them with software they create! By working with microcontrollers, students will learn the fundamentals of programming and gain hands-on experience writing and developing their own code. They’ll explore how different electronic components respond to instructions written in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), unlocking new possibilities for interactive projects. Exciting hands-on activities may include Programming a Virtual Pet, Designing a Programmable Light Show, Building a Simple Game Controller, and Making a Custom Keyboard—blending hardware and software for a true engineering experience!
