In this class, students ages 10-16 will learn the fundamentals of soldering, with a strong focus on safety and proper techniques. They’ll explore why soldering is an essential skill, its various applications, and how it plays a crucial role in electronics. Students will develop good soldering habits while learning to identify and troubleshoot common issues. As they progress, they’ll work with more complex components, including integrated circuits (ICs) and printed circuit board (PCB) designs. Hands-on activities may include PCB Design, Soldering Techniques, a Photoresistor Car, and a "Simon Says" Board, giving students practical experience and confidence in their soldering skills!
