About This Activity
This session is for young people that are between 17-24 years of age who live with physical disabilities or a progressive physical challenge. Campers are intellectually alert and want to participate in social and physical activities. Campers usually require assistance with daily living and they enjoy participating in the camp activities. Campers are offered an opportunity for input into the sessions. Activities can include game show night, movie night, campfires, music circles, arts & crafts, dances, and swimming. DAY 1 CAMP DROP OFF TIME: ON OR AFTER 3:00PM DAY 6 CAMP PICK UP TIME: Between 9:00AM - 11:00AM NOTE: Camp Tidnish does not provide a 1:1 staff-to-camper care ratio - if a camper requires constant support at home/school due to adverse behaviours or care/medical reasons then the camper would require a support person (Worker/family member) to be able to attend camp. If this is the case please select the support person option ($200) and the Camp Director will call to discuss this with you.
