About This Activity
This session is for young people that are between 14-24 years of age who live with mild intellectual disabilities. The program uses an array of recreational activities to promote laughter, a sense of play and exploration. This is done through, storytelling, music circles, karaoke, campfires, arts and crafts, outdoor bowling, gardening, nature exploration, gentle cabin rivalry, dancing, and swimming. . DAY 1 CAMP DROP OFF TIME: ON OR AFTER 3:00PM DAY 6 CAMP PICK UP TIME: Between 9:00AM - 11:00AM NOTE: Camp Tidnish does not provide a 1:1 staff-to-camper care ratio - if a camper requires constant support at home/school due to adverse behaviours or care/medical reasons then the camper would require a support person (Worker/family member) to be able to attend camp. If this is the case please select the support person option ($200) and the Camp Director will call to discuss this with you.
